Barbara Kalebić graduated in Environmental Engineering from Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb (Croatia), where she developed her BSc Thesis entitled “Photocatalytic degradation of 17β-estradiol in water by solar/TiO2-FeZSM5/H2O2 process“. She pursues her following study at the same University obtaining the Master’s degree in the same field of (waste)water treatment by advanced oxidation processes focusing on emerging pollutants and their removal from (waste)water by different types of ozonation processes, as well as on the influence of various kinds of water matrix on degradation of aforementioned substances.

B. Kalebić performed her research activities within the scientific projects “Environmental Implications of the Application of Nanomaterials in Water Purification Technology“ financed by the Croatian Science Foundation and “Photooxidative degradation of priority substance in water using batch and flow reactor systems“ financed by the University of Zagreb.
