He graduated at the FSB in 1996. After graduating he worked at the Department of Energy, Power and Environmental Engineering
of the FSB. In 2000 he acquired the Master’s degree and the Doctor’s degree in 2004 at the FSB. He is now Full Professor at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb.
His scientific work includes research in the field of drinking and waste water technologies, fuel technologies and environmental engineering. In last decade the focus of his scientific work is on advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) for water treatment, especially photocatalytic processes using heterogeneous catalysts for degradation or removal of organic micropollutants from water.
He has published 17 papers in SCI journals, 2 book chapters and more than 30 papers in proceedings of international and national conferences.
