Petar Jovancic

Dr. Petar Jovancic is a full professor at Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy of University of Belgrade (www.tmf.bg.ac.rs) and a leader of Advanced Material Research at Functional Textiles Unit of EURECAT (www.eurecat.org). His interests are in in textile-based smart materials looking for their innovative development and integration into emerging multi-sectorial technologies. The strong scientific background in material science, smart and functional bio-coatings, applied plasma research and processing, environmental chemistry, polymer engineering and nanotechnology permit him to implement novel front-line research lines in various internationally recognized laboratories. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and expert reviewer/panel member of European Research Council (Starting, Advanced and Synergy Grants in Physical Sciences and Engineering (PE) domain).
