Sabrina de Boer

Sabrina received her master’s degree in chemistry from Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (Germany). With a background in organic synthesis obtained during her undergraduate studies she later focused on environmental analytics. As a master student, she completed an internship at the DECHEMA Forschungsinstitut (DFI) in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), where she investigated the kinetics of photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide generation based on titanium dioxide nanoparticles. Proceeding in this field during her master’s thesis, she optimized a photobiocatalytic reaction system working with hydrogen peroxide-dependent peroxygenases.
