21 Oct New Plasma Reactor Designed and Tested at IPB

The new plasma reactor with multi-needle electrodes has been designed and tested at one of the NOWELTIES’ beneficiaries Institute of Physics Belgrade (IPB). It was observed that the plasma ignition occurred successfully with all three needles. The next step is to design a water flow system with multi-needle electrodes over the contaminated water surface in order to remove organic micropollutants. Additionally, the electrical and optical characterization will be carried out to measure discharge parameters and to detect reactive species (^.OH, O^., H^.…..) in the plasma system.
