24 Aug Participation in the CEEC-TAC6 Conference

Camilo Sánchez Tobón (ESR8) and Nikoletta Tsiarta (ESR14) participated in the 6^th Central and Eastern European Conference on Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (CEEC-TAC6) and 15^th Mediterranean Conference on Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis (Medicta2021) which was held between 20^th – 24^th of July 2021 in Split, Croatia.

The CEEC-TAC conference takes place every two years, and this time it was organized by the University of Split. The ESRs had the chance to participate in the conference in person (meeting all the protocols for preventing the spread of COVID-19) and to meet people around the world and discuss their projects.

Camilo Sánchez Tobón gave an oral presentation entitled “N/TiO₂ nanocomposites: nitrogen effect on the material properties” and Nikoletta Tsiarta presenter her work in the poster section with the title “Structural characterization of sol-gel TiO₂ and CeO₂ coated ceramics membranes”.
