Michele holds two M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Marche Polytechnic University (Italy) and Ryerson University (Canada), respectively. He joined academic and industrial research groups in EU and North America, where he worked on large projects such as SMART-Plant and IntCatch (Horizon 2020), and Advancing Water Technologies (AWT). Among the carried out activities, he managed pilot-scale water resource recovery facilities focusing on wastewater treatment processes and resource recovery.
